Under this program, AALI identifies and enhances capacities of caseworkers and young caseworkers in the districts where we have a field presence through trainings, hand holding visits, and one-on-one mentoring. We also build capacities of the staff of One Stop Centres so that they can provide support to the survivors of VAWG with utmost sincerity and sensitivity and while adhering to their role. Under this program, we also develop capacities of lawyers, from a marginalized background, on Legislations and Acts related to women*’s empowerment which in turn enables them handle the cases through a gendered lens. Through this we also aim to bring women lawyers into focus.
